Biography
Professor Dr.Areerat Suputtitada is Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine,full time working at Chulalongkorn University and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Her formal medical training includes a M.D. degree from Sirirai Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok (Thailand). She is board certified in rehabilitation medicine by the Thai Medical Council. Professor Suputtitada was invited as international speaker more than 60 times around the world. She received 15 national awards and 3 international awards, and published more than 20 international and 30 national articles in the areas of her experts including neurological rehabilitation, spasticity and dystonia, gait and motion, and pain. Professor Suputtitada is one of the expert in Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy (ESWT) for various PRM indications. Professor Suputtitada has been elected and appointed to important positions in the ISPRM such as the Chair of Women and Health Task Force and International Exchange Committee.
