Dr. Chow is a lifestyle scientist for sleep. She leads a team of research students who contribute to understanding the role of glycemic index on sleep. The findings have major implications for people with sleep initiation difficulty, since a dietary approach could potentially help these people. Dr.Chow has mentored many research higher degree students, who are making important contributions to knowledge and will go on to make broader contributions to society. She is a director of Sleep Research Team.
She has had a long standing interest in sleep health research with a focus on the impact of dietary factors, exercise, nocturnal thermal factors on sleep initiation and maintenance.
